Dorin Preda

Earth sciences engineer (1982), specialized in coastal environmental studies (1986), and meteo-hydrology (1990), now retired.

Between 1999 and 2010 I developed the most economical solar thermal (air) technology, which was used in my Q Solar Pty Ltd business.

To improve central heating for single floor apartments, I invented a heat transfer system that works without a pump, for which I was granted a patent in 1991.

Since 2019, I have applied my expertise in the above four fields to a climate change study and book titled “Restoring Climate“. This book shows that the changes we have made to the global water cycle are so significant, that we can substantially repair at least regional climates through improved water management and proper revegetation.

I believe that we should rely only on unbiased, rationally correct, and openly debatable information, as the opposite is the root of all our problems.
