Dorin Preda

Earth sciences engineer (1982), specialized in coastal environmental studies (1986), meteo-hydrology (1990) and solar thermal energy (1999); now retired.

Between 1999 and 2010 I developed the most economical solar thermal (air) technology, which was used in my Q Solar Pty Ltd business.

To improve central heating for single floor apartments, I invented a pump-less heat transfer system, for which I was granted a patent in 1991.

Since 2019, I have applied my expertise in the above four fields to a climate change study and book titled “Restoring Climate“. It shows that the changes we have made to the global water cycle are so significant, that we can repair regional climate through improved water management and proper revegetation.

Based on the above study and book, in 2025 I launched an initiative for a Unified Climate Change Theory that starts creating the theoretical framework for a cooperative international effort to restore climate through new, beneficial methods that also boost economy and improve wellbeing of people .

I believe that we should rely only on unbiased, rationally correct, and openly debatable information, as the opposite is the root of all our problems.
